Choosing a hotel: walking distance is the whole decision
Hotel distance is where most of the price difference sits, and it is the variable that most affects how the trip actually feels. A room 200 metres from the Haram costs substantially more than one 1.2 km away — and during Ramadan the gap widens sharply.
For most travellers the honest answer is that a mid-distance hotel is fine. If you are travelling with elderly parents, with young children, or during Ramadan when the walk is longer because of crowd routing, it is not — and that is worth paying for. We will tell you which of those applies to your group rather than selling you the most expensive option by default.
Visa: most travellers no longer need a dedicated Umrah visa
Belgian passport holders, and many residents of Belgium holding a valid permit, can now perform Umrah on a Saudi tourist eVisa applied for online. It is straightforward and you do not need an agency to do it. Where we help is when it is not straightforward: non-Belgian passports, a previous refusal, a passport close to expiry, or minors travelling with one parent.

When to book
Outside Ramadan, six to eight weeks ahead is comfortable. For Ramadan — and especially the last ten nights — book four to six months ahead. Haram-adjacent hotel inventory during that window is allocated, not searched, and by the time prices look high on comparison sites the good rooms are already gone.
The two things that actually delay people are passport renewal and the meningococcal ACWY vaccination appointment. Start both before you think about flights.

How much does Umrah cost from Belgium?
The total depends far more on hotel distance from the Haram and on season than on the flight. Ramadan, and particularly the last ten nights, is the most expensive window of the year by a wide margin. Send us your dates and group size and we will give you a real figure rather than a range.
Can I perform Umrah on a Saudi tourist visa?
Yes. The Saudi tourist eVisa permits Umrah. It does not permit Hajj, which is allocated separately through a national quota.
Do you arrange Umrah for women travelling without a mahram?
Yes. The mahram requirement for Umrah was removed and women can travel independently or in a group. Confirm the current rule with us when you enquire, as Saudi entry rules are revised periodically.
Can I add a stopover in Dubai or Istanbul?
Yes, and it is often barely more expensive because the main carriers on this route connect through those hubs anyway. Visa arrangements for the stopover depend on your nationality — we will check before booking.
Do you offer group or family rates?
Yes. Group bookings are usually where we save people the most, because hotel and transfer pricing changes materially above a certain party size.
